Kidney and Bladder MeridianThe Kidney Bladder meridian imbalance may show up as swelling, bloating, sharp pains or difficulty urinating, great anxiety, and inability to digest food. If Blood flow through the kidney is not as it should be, high blood pressure or hypertention may result. Kidney allows the stomach to do its job by providing fluidityThe bladder eliminates fluid waste. Depression, inability to cope, and fear of change are associated imbalances. Sleepy, irritable, anxious, craving salt, vertigo, dizziness, loss of balance, dryness of mouth or drooling may indicate an imbalance in Kidney/Bladder. Fear (holding on) as apposed to letting go is the emotion which may bring on phobias of all sorts; fear of heights, water, people, new things, sexuality, closed spaces, dark, or death. Bones are kept strong from the energy of the Kidney and Bladder. Dry, broken, split hair, balding or partial balding in men and women may have to do with an imbalance. Excess trembling may indicate a letting go when accompanying chronic illness. Bladder Meridian Balancing ExerciseThe Bladder Meridian rules the back, neck, buttocks, backs of the thighs, calves and outside of the feet. Kidney Meridian Balancing ExerciseThe Kidney Meridian begins at the soles of the feet, travels up the innermost part of the leg to about the knee region and crosses over and up the back of the leg toward the outside of the back of the leg. An inner branch travels through the Kidney, Liver, Heart, Lungs and up the center of the throat into the ears.Sexual vitality and stamina are related to this organ. Kidneys rule ears, bones, sense of hearing, menstrual regularity and sensitivity to cold. ![]()
